I never thought that the hardest part about building a new website would be getting rid of the old one. Apparently it is harder to transfer a domain from one hosting site to another than I imagined…

I am now going back and forth with support tickets trying to sort it all out. My new site is hanging out in digital limbo.

After being in IT for so long it’s always interesting to be on the other side of the phone with support tickets. Even though I’m not overly technical (I mostly ordered the technical people around) I know just enough to be able to tell when I’m being pacified and to truly appreciate it when someone is being truly helpful.
